I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, and gave many
thanks to all the blessings in your life. I enjoyed my
day tremendously…my parents came up (they live in
Arkansas), so it was nice spending time with them and the
rest of the family.

I don’t see my parents as much as I’d like since we live
sooo far away from each other, so when they are up here
I make the extra effort to spend as much time as I can with
them. So, I guess you know what I’ll be doing this weekend…
yep, hanging with ma and pa!!

Gum on Clothing – use egg whites to remove gum on clothing.
Brush egg white on onto the gum with a toothbrush. Let sit
for 15 minutes then launder the items as normal.

Handy Hints #2

Scuff marks caused by shoes on vinyl floors, which usually
take hard scrubbing to get off, can be easily removed by
wiping with a small quantity of eucalyptus oil on a paper
towel.

Hi All,

Remember a week ago or so when I asked for help about keeping
my lettuce fresh? Well, I used one of the tips and it really
did work….I wrapped the head of lettuce in napkins and then
in foil. And would you believe it lasted well over a week.
The outside turned a bit brown, but I just peeled it away and
the rest was still fresh, green, and crisp.

Another great tip using foil is wrapping your celery in it
to keep it fresh longer.
